The Conservatory

8911 N Western Ave, Oklahoma City, OK · about 120

History

The Conservatory was home to indie bands and their young fans in Oklahoma City for more than a decade. The room had been The Green Door before Dustin Wallace and Gianni Santille took it over in 2003, after The Green Door relocated to east Bricktown. In February 2015 they sold the club to Nick Hampson, who renamed it 89th Street Collective. The venue kept booking indie bands across hardcore, metal, indie pop, and the punk scene that had long filled the room.
