History
Marci Dickerson established The Game Sports Bar and Grill in 2008, part of the Dickerson Group she built after taking over her parents’ Smokehouse BBQ, Charles and Jeanette Dickerson’s longtime Las Cruces barbecue joint. The Game, minutes from New Mexico State, is an Aggie-themed sports bar with a big draft list and walls of televisions. A second room, The Game II, or Extra Innings, later opened on the east side with its own patio, drinks, and music.
