The Faint
Omaha

Bio
The Faint is a dance-punk band from Omaha, Nebraska, and part of the Saddle Creek Records circle. Todd Fink, drummer Clark Baechle, and multi-instrumentalist Joel Petersen started the group in 1995 under the name Norman Bailer; Conor Oberst was briefly involved before the band settled into its synth-driven sound. Blank-Wave Arcade (1999) and Danse Macabre (2001) built an underground club following, followed by Wet from Birth (2004), Fasciinatiion (2008), Doom Abuse (2014), and Egowerk (2019). Since 2016 the lineup has been Fink on vocals and keyboards, Baechle on drums, guitarist Dapose (Michael Dappen), and keyboardist Graham Ulicny.
