Raleigh
Bio
The Connells are a Raleigh, North Carolina rock band that came together in 1984 around guitarist Mike Connell, his brother David Connell on bass, and singer Doug MacMillan. Their history page says the first real show was in September 1984 at Cafe Deja Vu in Raleigh. The 1993 album Ring included "74-75," which became a hit across Europe in 1995 after TVT licensed the record to Intercord. Mike Connell has continued to be based in Raleigh, where he has also practiced law.
