The Appleseed Cast
Lawrence
Bio
The Appleseed Cast is an emo and post-rock band based in Lawrence, Kansas. Singer-guitarist Christopher Crisci started the group in 1997, and the band relocated to Lawrence in 1999 after an early stretch on the West Coast. Crisci has been the main songwriter and the only constant member across albums such as The End of the Ring Wars, Mare Vitalis, and the Low Level Owl volumes. The lineup changes often; Wikipedia lists the current band as Crisci, Ben Kimball, Nick Fredrickson, and Sean Bergman. They continue to tour, including a 2022 show at The Fillmore in Silver Spring.
