Mr. Gnome
Cleveland
Bio
Mr. Gnome is a Cleveland art-rock duo of singer and guitarist Nicole Barille and drummer and pianist Sam Meister, together since 2005. Their own site describes a gritty, hypnotic space-psychedelia that swings from lullabies to heavier passages, released on their label El Marko Records. The catalog runs from a 2006 self-titled EP through albums such as Heave Yer Skeleton (2009) and The Heart of a Dark Star (2014) to A Sliver of Space (2024). They still play Cleveland dates, including WRUW-FM's Studio-A-Rama.
