Bully

Bio

Bully is Alicia Bognanno's band, based in Nashville since she formed it in 2013. She was born in Germany, grew up in Rosemount, Minnesota, studied audio recording at Middle Tennessee State, and interned at Steve Albini's Electrical Audio in Chicago before engineering at Battle Tapes and The Stone Fox. The first lineup was a trio with drummer Stewart Copeland, not the drummer from the Police, and bassist Reece Lazarus. Sugaregg came out in 2020 and Lucky for You in 2023. Bognanno now plays the band herself: vocals, guitar, and bass.
