Sophie's Body

Bio

Sophie’s Body is the Boston alt-rock quartet of Sophie McMinn (vocals), Dylan Hughes (drums), Harry Van Der Meer (bass), and Adam Hurt (guitar). Melodic Magazine (September 29) says McMinn came from classical voice and the others from jazz and grunge, and that they call the sound bubble-grunge. That Eric Alper (September 24) says the name started as a joke on a show flyer and that the debut album Zero is due October 30, after the 2025 EP Mandatory Girl. The October tour listed there includes Savannah.
