Bio
Roy G Biv is a Buffalo post-jam funk band. Its page at montikingu.com says Evan Waterstrat on bass and Tyler "Smidge" Midgley on drums form the rhythm section, with Sean Thurman on guitar and John Cimino on keyboards, and that all four sing. The same bio says the quartet has opened for acts including Steven Page, Spafford, Mt. Joy, and Nathaniel Rateliff and the Night Sweats, and that it co-won Band Together Buffalo in 2021 and won Battle of the Borderland in 2025. A band video description dates the group to 2017 and lists the album It's About Time (2022) and the EP RGB.fm (2025).
