Bio
Queen Serene is an Austin, Texas band that began as Sarah Ronan's solo project during the pandemic, using her old Instagram name. The Austin Chronicle reported that Ronan brought in guitarist Matt Galceran, bassist Dale Pohly, and drummer Riley Corcoran for a self-titled debut in October 2023; Charlie Cassells replaced Corcoran by the time of the follow-up. Album 2 arrived November 15, 2024, and the Chronicle described a shift from upbeat psych rock toward heavier shoegaze. Bandcamp lists the band in Austin and credits Ronan, Galceran, Pohly, and Corcoran on the 2025 release Glitter Disco, tracked at Left Hand Audio.
