Penny

Bio

Penny & Sparrow is the duo of Andy Baxter and Kyle Jahnke. They started singing together in 2011 as roommates at the University of Texas in Austin, released the EP Creature and the 2013 album Tenbloom, then Let a Lover Drown You (2016) on Single Lock, recorded in Muscle Shoals. The Music Man, quoting the pair, says the name came from a third roommate’s writing pseudonym, not from nicknames of their own.
