Midsummer Motel
Atlanta
Bio
Midsummer Motel is an indie-rock band from Dunwoody, in the Atlanta area, built around frontman Ethan Intveld and drummer John Hatch, who were classmates at Dunwoody High School. A 2024 Voyage ATL interview says they began playing together in the summer of 2020 and took the Midsummer Motel name after bassist Matt Neuberger joined. Early shows were at Peachy Corners Cafe in Peachtree Corners and DIY rooms around Dunwoody, and they later reached the Masquerade. The duo released the album Beat the Horse in 2025.
