Kassie Krut

Bio

Kassie Krut is an experimental electronic trio of Kasra Kurt, Eve Alpert, and Matt Anderegg. Wikipedia notes that Kurt and Alpert had been in the band Palm, and that Kassie Krut’s first song, “K.A.S.S.I.E.,” came out in 2020, followed by “Copycat” and “Killing It” in 2022. They signed to Fire Talk and released a self-titled debut EP on December 6, 2024, with singles including “Reckless” and “Racing Man.” The Line of Best Fit describes them as a New York trio that formed after Palm ended, with Alpert’s deadpan vocals over drum-and-bass breaks and heavy synths.
