Bio
Josh Ward, born in Houston on May 15, 1980, is a Texas honky-tonk singer who came out of church singing, rodeo, and oil-field work. AllMusic cites Promises (2012) and the national step More Than I Deserve (2018); Live at Billy Bob’s Texas followed in 2019. A 2021 horse accident sidelined him, and he returned with 2025’s Same Ol’ Cowboy, Different Rodeo. He made his Grand Ole Opry debut on November 15, 2022, and plays Cook’s Garage in Lubbock on October 23 (AllMusic; Opry.com; Bandsintown).
