Joelton Mayfield

Bio

Joelton Mayfield's site says the Texas-raised songwriter spent nearly a decade toward his debut album Crowd Pleaser: church music director as a teenager, then Nashville, where he switched from a music-business degree to English. In February 2021 he recorded in a bandmate's family barn near Mobile Bay, hauling a Hammond organ from Nashville and his grandmother's vibraphone from Texas. He is billed on the Jackson calendar.
