the Jazz Bugs @ Nietszches Buffalo

Bio

The Jazz Bugs are the trad-jazz ensemble billed with saxophonist Brian “Dr. Jazz” Bauer at Nietzsche’s in Buffalo. The club schedules “Dr. Jazz & the Jazzbugs” in the front room on the first and third Sunday of the month, from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m., for trad jazz, blues, and jokes, with no cover. JazzBuffalo has referred to Dr. Jazz and the Jazzbugs as Bauer’s current band project and has presented the group at the Buffalo History Museum. The act’s GigSalad page names the working group as Bauer on clarinet, saxophones, and vocals, Ed Woods on bass and vocals, and Will Wilson on banjo, guitar, and vocals.
