East Coast Dave

Bio

East Coast Dave is a Buffalo singer, guitarist, mandolinist, and lap-steel player who describes his music as American folk, blues, old-time, and early jazz given “the Pogues treatment.” His own site says he has been doing that since 1994, mixing rock-and-roll energy with the acoustic music of the “old, weird America,” and that he moved back to Buffalo in September 2024 after years in the Pacific Northwest. He has released the solo acoustic EP Smite Return, the East Coast Dave and the Midwest Swingers EP, and the single “I’m On Drugs,” all through his Bandcamp page.
