The Droptines are an Austin band playing what they call alternative Americana, signed to Big Loud Texas. Frontman Conner Arthur, from Concan, Texas, started the group in 2019; press has also named Dillon Sampson, Johnny Sheets, Tony Rincon, and Donny Parkinson. Their Spotify profile credits Arthur with lead vocals, Sampson with bass and harmony vocals, Sheets with drums, and Rincon with pedal steel, guitar, and keys. They recorded Drought Flower, set for 2026, with producer Jon Randall at Arlyn Studios in Austin, and they have opened for Whiskey Myers at Nashville's Ascend Amphitheater.
