Congress The Band

Bio

Congress The Band is a Charleston, South Carolina quintet founded in June 2023 by William Bennett and Thomas “Thos” Spratt, who started as an acoustic duo living on Congress Street. With guitarist Daniel Guy, bassist Robert Farmer, and drummer Jett Seawell, they play groovy mid-tempo rock; the debut single “Out the Door” was followed by “Modern Lady.” They have since moved into ticketed rooms and festival bills, including the Georgia Theatre in Athens and High Water Festival.
