Bio
Chora is a Memphis atmospheric sludge and post-metal band. Concert Archives describes the music as bleak sludge pushed into long, cathartic pieces with quieter atmospheric passages. Their Bandcamp page lists Memphis members including Andy Britton and Taylor Littlejohn, and the album There Lies a Friend I Once Knew came out February 3, 2023, recorded at Easley-McCain, engineered and mixed by Matt Qualls, and mastered by Magnus Lindberg, with extra vocals from Ian Younkin. The band has shared Memphis bills with Autolith at the Hi-Tone and at Meddlesome.
