Bywater Call
Bio
Bywater Call is a Toronto seven-piece blues-rock band named for the Bywater neighborhood in New Orleans. Blues Rock Review's 2026 interview with singer Meghan Parnell says she and guitarist Dave Barnes formed the band to play small Toronto clubs; the lineup named there is Parnell, Barnes, drummer Bruce McCarthy, bassist Mike Meusel, keyboardist Andrew Moljgun, trumpeter Stephen Dyte, and saxophonist Julian Nalli. Louder dates the start, with Meusel, to 2016. They open for Joanne Shaw Taylor at the Flagstaff Orpheum.
