The Brokes
Bio
The Brokes are a Toronto note-for-note tribute to The Strokes, formed in 2022 by five musicians from that city's scene after a Halloween show led to sold-out local dates. Visit Buffalo's listing for their Buffalo Iron Works concert calls them Canada's premier Strokes tribute and says the sets cover major releases plus deep cuts, down to vocal cracks, wardrobe, and guitar tone. A July 2024 New York Times piece on their Arlene's Grocery show names Brandon Wall, Dan Bedard, Marlon Chaplin, Adrian Traub-Rees, and Connor MacArthur.
